Richard Collins

Born 1945 in Phoenix AZ to Floyd & Mildred Collins. Graduated from Brophy High School in 1963. Attended Nau & graduated from Phx College with a business degree. Went on to finish college at ASU. Met my wife Rhonda in 1970 and we were married in June of 1971. Moved to Flagstaff in 1982 with my wife and six children, Nicole, Michael, John, Jennifer, David & Karrin. Began my real estate career working for Coldwell Banker in Pinewood. Sold the property now known as Forest Highlands to the developer and became their Designated Broker. Left Forest Highlands in 1997 and along with Steve Jackson , my brother-in-law, we started Highlands Realty. Around 2009 Jim Mehen and I started working on acquiring the property now known as Flagstaff Ranch. I became the Designated Broker, Sales Mgr and a Founding Member of Flagstaff Ranch Golf Club. After a short retirement from active Real Estate I also passed my Life, Casualty & Property Insurance exam and went to work with one of my sons, John, who owns the John Collins State Farm Agency in Scottsdale. I was fortunate to be able to work from my home and stay in Flagstaff, working as a sales associate for State Farm. In 2018 I placed my Real Estate License with Remax Fine Properties and now work along with my son Dave Collins. My wife and I have been Blessed with 22 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 2 more on the way. My wife and I enjoy the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting and golf. We feel very fortunate to have been able to live and raise our family in such a beautiful place such as Flagstaff.
